Little Radio

Grandma T and Grandpa came by the other day after going to a garage sale and they brought this little radio for Carter. Well, Macie got a hold of it and she started dancing to the music. Then she started carrying it around with her and shaking her head. It was the cutest thing. I think she has taken possession over the radio! I am not sure how Carter feels about this but he was laughing at how she was dancing too.

3 Steps!!!

Well our baby girl took 3 big steps tonight. And it was great she waited until Daddy was home to see it. I am sure that tomorrow will bring even more. What a fun time and how exciting. I had a feeling it was close because she was standing on her own everywhere. We will keep you updated on her progress. Good Job Macie!!! We love you so much!

Trampoline

We were able to put up the trampoline Friday night. Carter was so excited for his daddy to come home because all day I had told him that when your dad comes home we will put up the tramp. I have a feeling we are not going to be seeing a whole lot of Carter for the summer. Macie loves the tramp too. We can hardly keep her off the thing. She has been standing at the back window yelling and pointing at the tramp. Dave has already taken Carter out and laid down and looked at the stars. Carter had fun and Dave loved being able to do that with his son.

Spring Day!!!

Christy called Friday morning and invited us to meet her over at the park to let the kids play. It was such a pretty day I couldn't resist. Macie and Carter both had a fun time. It sure is nice to have spring type weather again.

Happy 1st Birthday Macie!

Well, our baby turned one on the 19th of March. I can't believe it. How time has flown. Carter had fun singing her "Happy Birthday" all day and putting balloons in her crib. That afternoon we went to Leo's and had lunch she had fun riding the rides. What a fun Birthday. We also took her over to Toys R Us and she got a balloon and a hat. And that morning Geoffrey the Giraffe called and sang to her on the phone. She was completely exhausted by the end of the day.

A visit from Grandma and Grandpa

My mom and dad came by the other day to say hi to the kids and when they got here the kids were playing with the balloons. What a fun thing. Carter got laughing so hard along with Kailey and Sydnee. My mom and dad would shoot the balloons at them as they would run by. It sure is nice having my dad retired too. He loves all the extra time he gets to spend with his grandkids. And the kids love seeing him more. Carter and him are buddies. Whenever he sees Grandpa there is usually a "Can we go see the cows?" question involved. What fun!!!

Play day at Grandma T's and Grandpa's

We were able to go to Grandma T's and Grandpa's house the other day and just play. The kids had a blast. Carter was such a good boy. He seems so grown up these days. He couldn't wait to get out the toys that he knows only Grandma has. His favorite are the marbles, and the push cars. Well, until my mom brought out the candy claw and I think that won the prize for the day. But the day wouldn't be complete without a swim in the Hot Tub. He is so cute he knows exactly where the suits are and even brings mine out for me. He loves swimming. I can't wait for summer.

It didn't take Carter long to figure out how to get the candy out of this machine.

Macie was able to play with a bunch of new toys too. She loves talking on the phone. Her favorite thing to say is "hi daddy" she loves her daddy.

Already looking like a teenager.

One EXCITED Daddy!!!

Well, it is official Carter has entered into the world of sports. We signed him up for soccer a couple of days ago and he hasn't been able to quit talking about it. Dave and I and Macie took Carter to the store yesterday and bought him his first cleats, shin pads, and soccer ball. He was so excited. Then Carter and Daddy went outside and practiced kicking the ball. And WOW, you can't believe how that little guy kicks the ball. I mean he is only three and he has never even played. It is amazing. His first game is April 15th at Tauphaus Park. But I am sure we will be playing a lot before then.

Big Helper!

Macie is such a big helper. We bought a new computer desk the other day and it took me and the two kids 3 1/2 hours to put it together. It sure is a nice desk.

First Words!!!

Macie will be 1 in a few days. I can't believe it. She is very close to walking and this morning she said her first words. (All Done) She has said a few things before this like; Momma, Dada, Ball, Hi, and uh oh. She was eating breakfast this morning and I went to give her another bite and she turned her head and then looked at me and said "all done". Carter was sitting there and he laughed and said "She said all done" and then he laughed some more. Then she was eating a cracker and when it was all gone she said it again. And again when she was done in the bath tub. What fun. She still seems so little that it is really weird to hear her talk and for that matter it is really weird to see her push things and walk behind them. This picture isn't of this morning but I love it. She looks so cute, it is like she is trying to say something.

Future Missionary

This is Carter's 1st suit. Isn't he a stud? We are going to get family pictures and the kids' yearly pictures in a couple of weeks. I can't wait. We are going to have Carter wear this suit for one of the pictures. I also went to Seagull Book the other day and found a little tag that says "Future Missionary" it is great. I was talking to my sister about it and she said that will be neat to have when some day I have a picture of him all grown up in a suit with a tag that says "Missionary".

Our Trip to Utah

We were able to go to the AeroSpace Museum, in Layton, Utah at the end of February. It was so fun. The kids had a blast. I have to admit I enjoyed myself as well. It was so nice to get away for a few days. It was also nice to come home and see Dave. I think he kind of missed his kids, just a little. I don't think he has stopped kissing them since we have been back. We were able to do a lot of different things is Utah. We took the kids to the Museum and we were also able to go swimming, there was only one minor incident and that was Sherri's camera decided to take a swim with us. We were also able to go to the Tree House and let the kids play. Carter loves that place. We will have to go back again. It was a great trip, however the kids were exhausted neither one of them made a peep the entire drive home.

We had so much fun thanks to John and Sherri for having us!!!

Grandpa's Buddy!

Happy Birthday Great Grandma Birch

Carter and Macie's Great Grandma Birch turned 75 on February 21st. She really loves her Great Grandchildren.

My Pride and Joy

Grandma T's Piano

Carter is such a great big brother. Macie absolutley adores him. She is always watching him so carfully and you can tell she is trying to take it all in. They both love to sit up to the piano and play. It is very fun to watch because neither one of them pound on the keys like you would expect children to do. Maybe I will get some piano players out of these two.
Hello Daddy!!! (When you ask Macie where Daddy is she puts her arm up to her hear like she is talking to him on the phone. She loves her Daddy.)
Hi Macie Moosters!

Carter turned 3 this year. I can't believe my little boy is 3 years old. It seems like yesterday that Dave and I were just bringing him home from the hospital. We spent Carter's birthday at Leo's Place. This is Carter's favorite play place. He had a fun time playing with his cousins and his friend Josie. He was so excited about having a Mickey Mouse cake.

One tired Birthday Boy

Carter had a great birthday, so great that he couldn't even finish his corn dog at dinner time.

Happy Birthday Carter

Carter woke up to a room full of balloons the morning of his birthday. He and Macie loved it.
