Sneaking a TREAT!!!

I found Carter and Macie hiding in the corner eating cookies the other morning. It was so funny. Carter had gotten a cookie off the counter for him and Macie and then they walked together to the corner and sat down for a treat. I love you kids.

First Day of Soccer!

Here is Carter at his first Soccer practice. He looked so cute with all the other little kids lined up ready to kick the ball. He was pretty good at everything the coach asked them to do. And man was he tired when we got home. He slept really good that night. I think he is going to really enjoy getting out once a week to play a sport.

A great summer day!!!

We have had some great weather the past few weeks. It has been a little rainy the last couple of days but before the rain came Carter and Kailey found a great summer day to get outside and put the sprinkler under the tramp for the first time this season. Carter absolutely loved it. He loves his tramp. Macie got a new swing the other day thanks to my mom and dad going to garage sales. It is so much better than the last baby swing I had. I wasn't sure about this swing because Macie just screamed in the last one. But the minute I put her in this one she started laughing and blowing kisses to her puppy. I am so excited to have a backyard this summer. What fun for the kids.

Finally Walking!!!

Well, Macie is finally walking all over the place. It is so cute. She just started to take all these steps then she got the hang of it and she can't stop doing it. Her new favorite thing is to carry little things around with her. Carter had a lot of fun with his soccer the other night I will post some pictures later. Good job Macie!!!

New Adventure for Macie

Well, Macie has learned to go up and down the stairs. She is so good at it. I still make sure that I am there all the time just in case but she hasn't needed my help thus far. I only showed her how to do it the right way once and after that she was a pro. Now she wants to do it all the time. I can't decide if I am happy about that or not. We had our garage sale this weekend it turned out so good. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day. I was able to get rid a really a lot of things this year. I have wanted to clean out the spare room downstairs so that we can turn it into a nursery. (No we are NOT pregnant!) I just want to have it ready so that when Macie is ready to change out of her crib we can just move it downstairs. We are going to build a wall in the room to make it a nursery and laundry room. I am loving the nice weather it has made me very anxious to get outside and work in the yard. I have already mowed a few times and I just bought grass seed for the backyard today. I would really like to get a patio set this year so that we can eat outside. It is such a nice feeling to know that we were able to get the yard finished last year so that we can just enjoy it this year. Macie had another weight check-up with the doctor today. She weighs 19lbs 7.5oz. He still was very happy about that weight so she is still on formula for the next month at least. Carter has his first soccer game tomorrow night so we will write again tomorrow and let you know how it went.

Ready Set GO!!!

Everyone was able to make it to my parents house this year for the Easter Egg hunt. Carter was old enough this year to take off on his own and find all the green eggs. Macie was supposed to find all the orange eggs. Her and Daddy had fun doing that.

Happy Easter!!!

Carter had a lot of fun Easter morning. They each got a couple of things from the Easter Bunny and then a ton of Candy hidden all around the family room. Macie was even getting good at putting the candy in her basket, however not all of them made it into her basket.

Battle Wounds

Macie was playing at the park the other day and she slipped and hit her left cheek on the balance beam and this black eye is the result. She still isn't the sturdiest walker.


Carter was coloring Easter Eggs and he slipped on his chair and smacked his nose on the table. He cried pretty hard, if you couldn't tell from the picture.

Saturday evening we were able to color Easter Eggs. The kids loved it. Macie would get so mad when you took her cup away just long enough to get the egg out. We started having another egg ready before we took hers away.

BOYS will be BOYS!!!

Yesterday Carter, Macie, Kailey, Sydnee and I went to play group at the church for an Easter Egg Hunt. It was really fun. Our ward does these play groups once a month, yesterday was the first time we have attended. I was surprised by how many people go. We had an Easter Egg Hunt and then a luncheon. The kids had lots of fun playing with each other. After lunch though Carter went missing. Carter, Parker, and Jeffery were all missing. So I went looking for them. One of the mothers told me that she saw Carter going into the bathroom so I went to make sure that he was doing okay and as I went into the bathroom and turned the corner I found all three boys. They were in the large stall all standing around the toilet peeing at the same time and talking about how funny it was. I laughed so hard I could hardly contain myself. I went to tell the other two moms that I had found the three missing boys and what they were doing and they laughed and said that it didn't surprise them. Each of those moms have 4 boys and no girls so I guess they are used to that kind of thing. It sure was a shock to me though. Anyways like I said BOYS will be BOYS!

The weather has been so nice lately that my mom and I were able to take the kids to the river the other day. My mom brought some bread and the kids had fun feeding the ducks. However, Sydnee wasn't sure about it especially after one of the Geese bit her fingers. She didn't even cry she just looked at it really funny. What a fun day!
