Our big boy is 4!!!

Carter's Birthday was a success. I think he had a lot of fun with the whole day. He woke up to a room full of balloons and streamers on his door. He thought those where great. He picked French Toast for breakfast and then he quickly got ready for the day so that we could go to his party. We had the party at Leo's this year. Carter loves that place. He also was able to invite a couple of friends. When we got to Leo's he could hardly sit still. Julie was able to come and she was there right from the beginning so they were restless together. Shortly after we got there everyone else showed up. Grandma and Grandpa, Great-Grandmas and Great- Grandpa, cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and friends were all there. We ate first and then they played for a little bit. Carter then remembered that there were presents to open so he went to his dad and said "can I open my presents now?" So we did presents and then had cake and ice cream. I was very happy with the way the cake turned out and more importantly Carter loved it. Macie loved it too even after we moved out of our room she was still eating the cake right from the tray. (silly girl) After we got done at Leo's we went home so Carter could play with all his new toys. Macie wanted to play too but her bed kept calling to her and she went down for a nap. Cam and Talisha came over to visit for a little while. It was really fun to see them. Then Carter got to pick where he wanted to go for his Birthday dinner. He chose Craigo's. Dave was excited! Then we went to the ice rink and watched my brother play in a hockey game. It was so fun to see him play again. I haven't seen him play in a game for about 10 years. He did so good and he had an assist on one of the goals. He also got put in the penalty box, which reminded me of back in the day too. He used to spend a lot of time there. Carter was so exhausted by the end of the day, and I must say I was too.
Carter and Macie were having a lot of fun baking the cake with me

He loved having his room decorated.

Dave's New Car!!!

Well Dave and I finally found a new car for him. This is not a picture of the actual car that we bought but this is exactly what is looks like. Dave loves it. And we got a steal of a deal on it. I am so excited to just have two cars. With all that Dave has going on it was hard to have a car for myself and the kids and still have him be everywhere he needs to be.

Collin and Sarah's Hockey game!

Last Saturday night Carter, Macie, and I went to Collin and Sarah's Hockey game.  Carter loved it and Macie kept saying "Go Sarah".  It was really cute.  After Sarah got done with her game Carter and her started playing and then Grandpa bought them some Cheetos and they all started munching away.

Trip to see the Cousins!

On the 24th we took a trip to Utah to visit the cousins. It was a lot of fun. We also had a little birthday party. They had a lot of fun opening presents and then Sherri made the best cinnamon rolls that I have ever tasted.
Macie and Madi got to have their baths together and they absolutly loved it. Bubble are Macie's favorite thing about bath time.

Before we went to Utah Carter kept asking me if we could go to the Dinosaur Park and see a T Rex.  He loves Dinosaurs.  He really knows a lot about them too.  He loved seeing all of them at the museum.
There was a Triceratops there that the kids could climb on so they did and we got a great picture.
Carter was just amazed by the size.  He couldn't stop looking at it.
Carter had to have his picture by all his favorite Dinosaurs.
The night we were going to leave I got a call from my sister saying that she was sick and I didn't need to watch her kids so we decided to stay another night.  Carter was so excited to get to stay.  Macie got a Tea Set from her cousins for her birthday and her and Madi were having a blast playing with it.
Because we were able to stay another day we decided to go swimming.  Macie and Carter love the water.  Macie hasn't really been a lot so I was a little nervous about her but she did great.  She loved it and we happier when I wasn't holding on to her.  I love this swimming pool because you can go out really far before it get deep.  It is perfect for little kids.  I really wish that there was one closer. In this picture Carter and Cole were playing with Madi and wanting to pull her all over but she was like Macie and was happy doing her own thing.
I had to add this picture because I thought it was so cute.  She was having the time of her life.
Everyone was having so much fun doing their own thing.
Carter was so sick of me taking pictures that this was the only up close picture that I could get of him.
Macie was doing so good. Floating all by herself. (with mom very close of course)
What a fun vacation.  Thanks Sherri and John for letting us come into you home for a couple of days.  Can't wait to see you again.

Trouble downloading pictures!!!

So I have been wanting to update my blog for about a week now but I haven't been able to download my pictures. I finally figured it out so here is a whole bunch of stuff that has happened since the beginning of January.
Kailey had her birthday party on the 23rd of January at Leo's.  It was a fun day.  Carter loved being around all the kids.  He loves Kailey.  He tells me all the time that she is his best friend.  That night we went to Blackfoot and had dinner with Grandma Jan and Grandpa.  The kids were able to give Jan her birthday present.  Happy Birthday Grandma Jan!

Happy 57th Birthday Mom

My mom's 57th birthday was on the 14th of January. We celebrated by going to Godfather's Pizza and then out to their house for pie. What a fun day. Then that night Dave and I got a chance to go to Salt Lake City to watch a Jazz game. It was just the two of us and another couple. That was the first time that we have been that far away from the kids over night. But it was really fun and well needed. Ever since Dave has been in school and working 3 jobs we haven't had much time for just him and I and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
