August!

August has also seemed to fly by so fast that I can't believe that summer is already over.  Carter is getting really excited to start preschool in September.  He will be going Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am to noon.  Lunch is also part of the preschool this year.  He is so excited that he will be able to eat lunch with all his friends.  Here is an overview of the month.
This was Macie's new dress that we picked up at a garage sale a few weekends ago.  $1.00!!! and it's reversible.  I love garage sales!!!
We went to visit Grandma Jan and Papa at the Family History Center a few weeks ago on a really nice day.  Then we went to the park and played for a while.
I just thought this was such a cute picture of Macie Moo.
Rigby Lake
I took the four kids to Rigby Lake to have a fun summer day in the water and sand.  They loved it.  We packed a picnic lunch and spent the entire day there.  We built sand castles, played in the water, collected rocks, and played with the beach balls.
Happy kids in the sun!
Busy kids!
Family Day at Reed's Dairy
Every year Reed's Dairy has a family day were you can go and have a $0.50 Hot Dogs.  The kids love to go because they get to see all the animals and they also have free horse rides.
Daddy's Little Girl!!!
I don't even think Carter was nervous about getting on the horse.  He was so excited he even let this guy help him get onto the horse.
And he was off.
Macie on the other hand was a little more nervous about getting on the horse.  Daddy had to get on the horse with her.  Once she was on she loved it.
He looks like a natural!
Carter and Macie competed in a cow milking contest.  I think Macie and I won.
A Visit to Utah!
Carter had been bugging me about taking him to see his cousins again and he wanted to go back to the Dinosaur Park.  I thought it was a good idea to go before school started and every ones schedule got really crazy.  Also it would be fun to go to the Dinosaur Park in the summer.  It is usually cold when we go and we can't do the extra stuff that is outside.  Carter was really excited to go and so was Macie.  We left Sunday morning and headed down to go to church with the cousins.  Carter thought that would be really fun.  We were only able to stay for that night and then we had to come home Monday night.  Even though it was a short visit it was really fun.
They started out wanting to sleep in the same room but it didn't last long due to lighting.  Funny kids, they all have different sleeping habits.
They all had a lot of fun at the Dinosaur Park.  Even though we have been there a million times, it was all new to them.
The kids all took turns picking a Dinosaur to take their picture in front of.
They are so cute together.
Carter and Saylee
Macie could barely see out the hole.
I love this picture.  I think it is so cute when they all get up on these rocks and pose.
Carter discovered a new thing this year at the Dinosaur Park.  He dug for Dinosaur bones.  He could have spent hours there if I had let him.  I can see him being a Paleontologist when he grows up.
Cute kids!
Macie fell asleep standing by the couch.  She was so tired.  I don't even know what we had done that day.
Happy 28th Birthday Daddy!!!
August 21st was David's 28th birthday.  It was a Saturday this year which really worked out good because he didn't have to work at any jobs.  We spent the day hanging out at home until lunch and then we went to Craigo's.  (Dave's favorite Pizza Buffet)  After lunch we went back home and let the kids have a nap.  That night we went to Ole Toro for dinner.  We met Dave's mom and dad and my mom and dad there.  We all had dinner and then went back to our house for presents and cake and ice cream.
David was recently made Manager at Ole Toro, we are so proud of him.  This desert was made by his boss.  It is about 10 times the size that is normally is for a regular customer.
Carter and Macie were waiting all day for this part.  They could hardly stand not opening Dave's presents all day long.  In fact Macie did open a couple of them.
This turned out to be a pretty good family photo.
This was Dave's main present.  He really wanted an IPod touch this year so that is what he got.  He was really excited.
Carter and Macie helped me make the cake and then they helped to blow the candles out.  I think they started blowing before Dave got a chance.  It is so fun having kids.

All Of July!!!

July has seemed to get right by without me having any time to keep up.  Here are all the things that went on in July.
4th of July
Carter and Josie!  I don't if we should be concerned or not!!!
We went to the fireworks this year with Josh and Tiffany.  It was really a lot of fun.  The kids and I had just arrived home from Park City and then we all got together and had a BBQ at our house and then went to the river to watch the fireworks.  Carter and Josie have a lot of fun together.
Cute Kids!!!
Tee-Ball Game
This was one of Carter's last games.  He absolutely loved playing Tee-Ball this year.  He is looking forward to playing again next year.
Carter's Fans!
Silly Girl!
This was Carter's Team this year.  He had great coaches and made a lot of new friends.
So Cute.  I can't believe he is old enough to start having these kind of pictures.  What a fun part of life.
Carter got a trophy this year for Tee-Ball.  You should have seen his face when he got it.  He was so excited.  Good Job Carter Man!
Dinner at Jim & Cindy's
We went to Jim and Cindy's house for a dinner in July.  It is so fun getting together with those guys.  There was lots of food and lots of kids.  What more can you ask for.
John and Sherri were able to come to the dinner it was really fun having them there.  Macie is giving Sherri lots of loves.  She loves her Aunt Sherri.
Carter had chicken for dinner.  He loves fried chicken.
Macie loves jumping on the tramp.
These three little girls had a ball together.
They laughed so hard when they all fell down.
They loved singing "ring around the rosy"
Carter found a tree house that he fell in love with.  It had a really fun slide on it too.
Trip to the Hospital
Well, this was the very next day after we went to Jim and Cindy's and you wouldn't think this was the same little girl that was jumping on the tramp.  She got so sick.  She had been sick off and on for a couple of weeks but when she woke up and wouldn't walk I knew something was really wrong.  We went to the doctor for the twentieth time and they finally admitted us into the hospital.  They ran a whole bunch of tests on her and filled her with antibiotics.  We were in the hospital for three days and two nights before she started feeling better.  Come to find out she had a UTI and the bacteria that was running through her little body was E Coli.  The doctor thinks that she got it from when she was swimming so much.
She slept really a lot while she was in the hospital.  She also had really a lot of visitors.  Thanks to everyone who came to see her and who called.
This is my sweet little girl before she is going to have her last test to make sure that her bladder is working correctly.  She looks so happy.  Let me tell you it didn't last long.  Luckily everything turned out really good and she was on her way to being all better.  However even now she still says her tummy hurts a lot.
Camping at Palisades
We went to Palisades as one last camping trip before all the kids went back to school.  They had really a lot of fun.  Grandma T and Grandpa Pat where there and Brandon and his kids came up on the weekend.  There was a lot of 4 wheel riding, playing in the stream, fishing with plates, boat riding, coloring, fires, and glow sticks.  What a fun couple of days.
Macie almost got lost in the tall grass.
She looks so cute with her helmet on.  She has to wear goggles too because the wind irritates her eyes.
They all picked beautiful flowers for Grandma T.
They colored plates so that we could use them as the bate for their fishing poles.
Nothing better than a slumber party in a trailer.
Building a fort under the table.
Going fishing with their sticks, string, and plates.
We built a fort in the middle of some trees.  Then we found a great tree stump to use as a table and then they spent hours playing in it.  They even had a bathroom.  One for boys and one for girls.  I think Carter actually used his!
This was so cute.  She was having some alone time waiting for her fish to bite.
Grandpa took all the kids and I in the boat for a little ride around the lake.  It was a lot of fun.  All the kids were so excited.

Time by the camp fire.
Yummy marshmallows
Color time in the morning.
Finding treasures.
Completely worn out.
Chocolate!!!
They all had a lot of fun swimming in the stream that was right behind the trailer.
Cute Pictures
It had been really quiet for a few minutes so I went to see what Macie was doing and this is what I found.  She found one of Carter's shirts and his shorts and then she got some newspaper bags and put them on as socks.  What a silly girl.
She got another new haircut.  We have been keeping it short because we are waiting for the sides to start growing.
We got Macie some water paint to play with.  She was so excited.  This picture is so cute.
The Sand Bar in St. Anthony
Dave and I took the kids to St. Anthony on a Saturday afternoon so that we could all play at the Sand Bar.  It was really fun taking my kids somewhere that I used to play all the time.  The kids loved it.  The water however was extremely cold.
Sand Castles!
Didn't really matter to Dave or the kids that the water was freezing.
There were a bunch of tiny fish swimming all around the kids feet.  It was pretty fun to watch.
Carter and Dave caught three tiny fish.
Family Fun!!!
She is such a good swimmer these days.
My two best guys!
It was a good thing there was water close by.  There was no way she was getting in my car looking like this.
Carter loved the slide.  He was a little nervous at first but once he finally went down.  He loved it.
A fun day in the sun!!!
Well, that was July in a nut shell.  This has been one of the funnest summers yet.
