A month ago we went to Utah to Cole's baptism then we went to their house to play. Well while we were there Carter fell in love with two new things. Mario Kart and Lego's. So Carter really wanted a Mario Kart Birthday. It took a little searching but thanks to the Internet I was able to find all the Mario Kart birthday supplies that I needed. He was so excited to have this theme.
Mrs. Albertson's and I made the cake this year. With help from Carter and Macie to place the figures in just the right spot. The design of the cake was Carter's idea.
Family and...
...Friends...
...and more family!!!
The Birthday Boy! Can he really be 6?
Silly Boy!!!
Present time. He was such a lucky boy to have so many friends and family come to his party.
Skylander's is one of Carter's favorite Wii games and he got a bunch of new guys to play with. My mom and dad gave him a whole new adventure pack and then Dave and I gave him an adventure pack and a couple of extra single Skylanders. He was so excited. He could hardly wait to get home and play.
Another thing that Carter got from my mom and dad were some more Trashies. He thinks they are so fun. He was super excited to add more to his collection.
One of the highlights of his birthday. It is funny but he wanted a Mario Kart birthday even though he didn't even have the game. But Carter wouldn't let Dave and I forget how much he wanted the game so I was really excited to give him something that he wanted so much.
This is one of those tiny remote controlled helicopters. My brother and his family bought this for Carter. It will be fun for Carter to fly this around the house.
The other thing that Carter really fell in love with was Lego's. This last month when we have been out at my parents house Carter has been getting out the box of Lego's and building random things. He told me that he would really love a Lego set like Grandma "T's" so that he could build anything he wanted at home. My sister and a couple of friends also gave him Lego sets. He was really excited and I am looking forward to sitting down with him to build many fun things.
Aunt Nic also came and brought him some treats and really fun new markers that you use to draw pictures on windows. Carter was excited to open them up and try them out. I now have suns and stick people all over my family room window.
Singing Happy Birthday to Carter Man!
This was so cute. I guess in school when someone has a birthday all the other kids get down on the floor and put their hands on their heads like they are candles with a flame and then the birthday kid goes down the line and blows out the candles by pushing down the hand flame. So before he blew out his real candles he blew out his friend candles. I loved it.
Make A Wish!
Landon was having a bite of frosting from Grandpa Pat's cake. Silly Grandpa!
What a fun day we all had. Landon was finally worn completely out.
